About Aiontia
This is the Aiontia project
Welcome to Aiontia, a website dedicated to reviewing, comparing, and recommending different self-help books. Our topics range from personal finance to productivity, business, and discipline. Our mission is to help our readers achieve their personal and professional goals through the power of literature. We are passionate about self-improvement and want to share our knowledge and experience with our readers.
As an avid reader in the field of self-help literature. I select and compare each book to ensure that our readers get the best possible advice and guidance. I believe that everyone can benefit from reading self-help books, regardless of their age or background. I am on my own journey for self-improvement, and you are welcome to follow mine or start you're own!

About Me.
I created this website to help myself, get a better overview of all the thousands of texts, theories, methods, books and literature there is out there about self-improvement.
I am a regular guy.
I am a regular guy
I like to watch movies, go out with my friends, watch sports, and dream big things. If an alien was to observe from outer space, he would conclude that there was nothing out of the ordinary about me. I watch movies and sports like most people, I go out with my friends as most people, and like most people I dream about greater things in life. However, unlike most people, I intend to take action on my dreams.
Throughout my teen years I have heard about great people who have achieved remarkable things. Bill Gates, who built Microsoft, Mark Zuckerberg who built Facebook, Arnold Schwarzenegger who transformed his body and became an A-list Hollywood actor, Warren Buffett who created unimaginable wealth in the stock market, Angela Merkel who had the respect of entire EU, Michael Jordan who broke the records in the NBA, Kylie Jenner who became the youngest ever billionaire, Messi and Ronaldo who ruled football for over a decade, and many many more. What all these people have in common is that the worked hard and dedicated for it. And I was always told that I too could become just as successful as these great people. I had the potential in me. I just had to work hard enough. But that’s the problem.
I, and humans in general, tend to prefer the easy option. Why bother read a boring book when I could enjoy my time on TikTok? Why go workout today and not see a difference in my body when I could lie in my sofa and watch Netflix? Why invest in the stock market and just earn 1% in whole year when I could buy this fancy new jacket? As a species, humans aren't very good working towards a goal we won’t reap the benefits from before an unforeseeable future. It’s not what I learn from just one book that will educate me, but from dozens. It’s not what one workout will do for my body, but from hundreds. It’s not what I can earn in the stock market in one year, but 20- 30- or 40 years. The problem lies in that people often don’t think that far. Of course, it’s not our fault; it’s biological. As most species, we are genetically encoded to think about problems right now and what might benefit us right now. Those genetic instincts helped us survive in our early primal years, however they are great hinderance in this day and age. They keep us from doing things that might benefit us in the future, and they don’t prevent us from doing things that might harm us in the future.
I know all too well how this basic instinct (or lack of it) can harm one's personal growth. I did alright in school, but I know I could have done a hell of a lot better if used more time studying and less time scrolling on Instagram. I am in okay shape, but I can only imagine the shape I would be in if went to the gym consistently the past few years instead of drinking soda and watching TV.
This is why I have started this project. My nearest group of friends and i decided we would escape our basic instincts and aim higher. To become something better. So, this website will try to gather as much information on these topics and compare different views on how to improve yourself. I am no expert in any of these topics, so I will to link to all the books so you could get a better understanding for yourself.
